Annie & Dodge
Annie and Dodge are both imported
from the USA. They are both bred by our friend Matt Thom from Arizona. Both dogs
represent the fourth quadrant what means that they have very short low maintenance rough coat
with nearly no or no beard and furnishings and a very intense tan.

Annie is hunted since she
was one year and she was mostly hunted on European wild boar. She is very
aggressive on varmints and small critters like marten, rats, nutrias, fox
or cats. We also take her with us on at least one or two field hunts per
year where she has to flush pheasant and hare out of thick thorn bushes.
But her favorites are wild boars. Although she has very strong hunting
drives Annie never had any problems with strange dogs during the hunts.
She also never had shown any serious interest in livestock like chicken or
sheep and has no problems around horses or cows.

Annie became the BH-title in April 2004. Since
spring 2004 we train Annie as
search & rescue dog at the THW. The first test which is parted in a endurance
test a obedience test and a search test she did in August 2004 without any
problems.
Annie was x-rayed for hips and ellbows and is free of any signs for patella
luxation.
We did the endurance test called "AD" which means 12 miles running at 7-8 miles/h
in October 2004 at the local SV OG in Miesenheim.
In February 2005 we got Dodge

Dodge is out of Henry Johnson's Old Jack and
John-Henry's Lucy (out of Kay and Cajun). We hope that he will become a healthy working
Airedale with strong hunting drives and that he and Annie will help us to bring
a little bit of the Redline tradition to Germany.
Dodge is a promising young dog. With just a year old he had his first hunting season in winter 2005/2006. He did all I wanted to see and I am more than glad that my friend Matt Thom offered me the chance to own such a fine hunting Airedale.

Annie and Dodge are very human-friendly and very
good around children. They both have good nerves and are easy to train. Both are
devoted to us and a pleasure to have around with us in house and garden. They
both are quite easy to handle and obedient.
